Toolmod MS

The microphone preamps that are used in the MS are ‚old friends’; we already know these units from our first ToolMod test. The input of the mic pre is equipped with a transformer, brand Haufe; the entire input amplifier itself is balanced. The maximum gain is 70 dB. The line switch selects the balanced line level input that has its own gain control; this let’s you install and level two different signal sources at a time that can be selected by the switch. The preamp has sweeped high-pass and low-pass filters and a dual color peak-present indicator.
