- INTEGRATOR
- the Control Room Solution
- Not only for the use in combination with the Integrator system, a control room control system is needed in every studio - even if the studio is a DAW.
- Most of the existing console system have an appropriate control room and playback system - neither does the DAW. DAW users always have lots of trouble only to control the volume of their speakers - not to talk about source selection, mono control or the selection of different speaker sets. Metering is the next problem, that is not appropriately covered with a DAW system.
-
- Many people use a simple hifi system for that purpose and they are used to live with the problems of that kind of 'solution'. However, the problems to handle a recording session with only one microphone causes insoluble problems. Almost never, there is no way to feed the headphones of the artist with another signal and talkback and communication is done by yelling.
- A range of INTEGRATOR Control Room and Playback Modules can solve all this problems and provide a professional environment for the control room speaker system, the metering, and the talkback and playback situation as well.

INTEGRATOR
for live recordings
The INTEGRATOR system is also a perfect tool for live recording sessions. If your session is a multitrack recording or a stereo or even a 5.1 recording - INTEGRATOR provides you with the necessary equipment.
Because INTEGRATOR is a modular system, that is rugged, highly transportable and easy to setup, it is a perfect tool for live recordings. Stereo, 5.1 surround and multi-track recordings of live events can be achieved easily. If you use the mixing frame, the direct outputs of the Fader modules can be sent to a multi-track recorder while a stereo or 5.1 mix can be simultaneously monitored or recorded from the appropriate master fader module. You can also use the C41-Cascade Mixing Modules as a compact solution to deal with a lot of channels. The high-quality microphone, line and instrument preamplifiers can be setup and used as a 'stand-alone' system sending line-level signals directly to a multitrack recorder. Naturally, since the audio quality of the INTEGRATOR system is pristine, it means that these and similar setups would also be at home in the studio environment.
As the Integrator system consist of several rack mounted frames, it can be easily moved. You can use you studio equipment or parts of that equipment also for the live recording. You do not need to transport a 150 pound console - you just move some rack mounted devices. If you main job is live recording and you use the same equipment for your recording and the final processing and the mix, you will often have to transport the sytem. For that purpose, light weight versions are available for every module and the frames. With these versions all the cover sheets are made from aluminum alloy instead of steel or stainless steel.
