Integrator Fader Frames for Mixing Modules

Fader frames are 6U high frame units that can be installed either in a rack or in a table. Up to 9 Fader Modules can be installed in this frame. Every rack frame has an extension connector to which additional rack frames can be docked. There is no limit to the number of frames in a system. Naturally, the system can extented as needed. Since all fader modules are interchangeable, configuring the system is quiet easy.

Without a master module, only the direct ouput of the input fader modules is available as outputs. If the master module is installed, a mixer with the following features is realized:

Stereo or 5.1 output - depending in master module, 1 stereo cue with cue master amplifier, 2 mono aux-sends with separate aux master amplifiers, 1 PFL master and solo in place and headphone output with volume control.

If stereo fader modules are used in the same frame with a 5.1 master module only a stereo mix will be possible. If 5.1 fader modules are used in the same frame with a stereo master module, only a stereo mix will be possible. All inputs and outputs of the fader and master modules are electronically balanced.

The Rack

The rack ears are removeable for desk mounting of the fader frames. Without the rack ears, the frame is 442 mm wide. The housing is in the form of a mixing desk with an angle of 8 degrees. The height in front is 130 mm. The connections are located on the back of the unit. Complete Integrator frames with fader and processing frames meeting your specification can be purpose built at short notice and reasonable cost.

Connections

The connections of the fader frame are implemented with 25-pin, D-Sub, a special connector for the couplind of additional frame an the 12-pin power suplly connectors. The pin configuration of all the D-Sub connectors meets the Tascam standard, which facilitates quick and easy connections between frames, individual modules and external devices. Optional cable harnesses and adapters are available.
