Stereo Master Module

Master Section for the Stereo version of the Integrator Mixing Frame

  • Stereo Master Unit with all necessary Functions
  • Master Amplifiers for Aux and Cue
  • integrated Stereo Input
  • integrated Couple Input for Extention Frames
  • switched Stereo Master Insert
  • PFL Master Amplifier
  • Headphone Amplifier with automated PFL change-over

The stereo master unit I52 contains all required functions to construct a functional mixer from the INTEGRATOR Main Frame with input modules. Because the INTEGRATOR system is totally modular and has a vast range of module types, the size and scope of almost any conceivable system is limitless. The fact that it is also compatible with the V700 system greatly increases its possibilities. The module includes a switched insert, 2 Aux and stereo Cue master, Headphone amplifier and output as well as the PFL master. The PFL master is automatically fed to on the headphone output. A stereo input and a paddock input complete the equipment of the module. This module is highly suitable as a stereo master unit in a custom recording/mixing or mastering console based on the INTEGRATOR and V700 systems.

Stereo Master
The output signal of the stereo bus amplifiers feeds the master insert that is implemented electronically balanced. The insert output is always active; the insert inputs are switched into the signal chain when the INS switched in pressed. The master output is electronically balanced and can be implemented balanced and floating by using external transformers. For the distribution of the output signal, we offer patch bays and distribution panels and more accessories.

Aux and Cue Masters
The master amplifiers for aux and cue use rotary faders for the master level. An AFL switch per master routs the signal to the PFL system. The aux 1 und aux 2 master amplifiers are implemented in mono, the cue master operates always in stereo mode. The outputs of all masters are electronically balanced.
Stereo input

The additional stereo input of the master module can be used to include a stereo DWA premix, to return the signal of a reverb device or for any other purpose. The input is electronically balanced and has a nominal level of + 6 dBu. There are a stereo send and both the aux sends. The cue send is driven in stereo and can be switched pre or post fader. Both the aux send are driven post fader in mono. The fader is a 100 mm slider fader. The signal is fed to the stereo master bus via the BAL pot with 0 dB center pad. The illuminated CH-ON switch activates the channels. A PFL switch and a solo system are part of the stereo channel. The operation of these switches is similar to the input channels.

Couple Input
The couple input makes possible the connection of a second mixing frame. See the description of the couple amplifier I70 for more explanations about the coupling system.

Headphone Amplifier and PFL
The integrated headphone amplifier can be used for a simple monitor control. The input of the headphone amp is normally connected to the main master output and is automatically switch to the PFL master when PFL is active. This mode is indicated by a led. The volume is controlled by a rotary pot. This output can be also be used to drive active loudspeaker systems.
A combination of the Integrator control room, metering and playback/talkback modules I61b, I21, I12 and I26 can be used to form a comfortable control room and playback system corresponding to your needs.
