C-Series Broadcast Consoles offer the same benefits as the big 5MT Broadcast consoles in a smaller format. While the standard C-Series is primarily designed for music production, the broadcast version uses the same compact frame with modules that include all special functions for broadcasting. Up 24 mono groups or 12 stereo groups, 8 VCA Groups and additional Cut Groups, and up to 12 aux sends are possible.

Input modules

Different mono input modules, from a very basic mic/line input channel to the sophisticated CO5-S9/2 with big parametric EQ, dynamics section, and a stereo input/group module CO5-S10 are best suited for 5MT Series C Broadcast consoles.

In addition all input modules for the C-Series music production consoles can be integrated in a broadcast console, if the special broadcast functions are not required for all channels.

The CO5-S9, the CO5-9/2 and the Stereo Channel CO5-S10 have integrated bus amps. These modules can be used either as input module or as mono or stereo group module.

Custom Modules

Custom modules and standard modules with custom features are possible with the C-Series broadcast console at reasonable prices. The function set of a custom module is only limited by the available bus rails in the console frame and the physical size of the top plate that limits the number of control elements.

Master sections

The standard master section E2 is best suited for the standard input module of the C-Series broadcast console. The master blocks S or S3 can also be installed. The S3 master is the best choice when special modules with more than 1 stereo program masters are installed since this master section can handle up to three main master modules. In addition, there is the C-Master block that does not include stereo effect returns. Since the C-Master has only two modules it is mostly used for small consoles.

VCA-Groups

Depending on the selection of modules and the intalled options, 8 VCA groups and 2 Cut Groups are standard. Special version can have up to 16 vca or cut groups in total. The modules can have fader start outputs and red light / on-air features with several on-air busses und configurable remote ports. Internal control of studio speaker mute, automatic switching of console and external functions is possible is almost any required way. Please ask for details if you are interested in such features.

Frames

The console frames can have any desired size with an overall width of up to 4 meters. Producers tables, remote bays, patchbay and similar things can be integrated without problems. Frames are not standard an always made on order. So any arrangement of a particular console is possible at reasonable cost.
