The W791/W792 combines a steep slope high-pass and low-pass filter with an accurate, adjustable notch filter. Just like all other V700 processing modules, this unit has a symmetric audio circuitry with balanced and floating input and output, and headroom of +30dBu.

Both the high-pass and low-pass filters have a slope of 24dB/octave and are fully adjustable. The low-pass has a range of 25kHz to 2 kHz and the high-pass filter has a range of > 15Hz to 300Hz. The range of both filters can be increased by a push button with a factor of x10. The section can be switched into or out of the audio chain by the FILT-ON switch.

The notch filter covers the frequency range from 20Hz to 20kHz. A switch is used to select three different frequency ranges of 20Hz to 200Hz, 200Hz to 2kHz or 2kHz to 20kHz. The bandwidth of the filter can be adjusted from 1 octave up to a halftone. The filter has a maximum attenuation value of more than 40 dB.

W791 is the mono version, and the W792 the stereo version of the device. These are standard V700 modules for installation into a standard frame.
