The precise Sifam VU meters have a standard scale of -20dB to +3dB.

The inputs of the device are either electronically balanced or transformer balanced and floating. The inputs can comfortably process level up to +30dBu without reaction on the connected sources.

The active electric rectifier amplifiers make possible an adaptation of the reference level by internal trim pots in the range from approx. - 6dBu to approx. +20dBu for 0dB VU. The default setting is +2dBu for 0dB (4dB Lead with + 6dBu ~ + 4 dBV).

The frequency range of the module is 20Hz to 20kHz @ ±0.2dB. Above 20kHz the signal is attenuated at a rate of 6dB per octave.

The U775 a double wide module, and is suitable for installation in standard V700 mounting frames.
